Festival Feast for All: Bridging Communities with Food

Festivals are a time for celebration, joy, and community, but for many underprivileged individuals, these occasions can highlight the harsh reality of hunger and hardship. To address this concern, Angles Foundation organized the “Festival Feast for All: Bridging Communities with Food initiative”, a dedicated effort to provide meals to those who are most vulnerable during the festive seasons.

Our initiative aims to create a community and belonging by bringing people together to share a meal. We believe that food is a powerful tool that can foster unity and compassion. By providing meals to those in need, we are not only addressing hunger but also offering a celebration on the festive days.

The Festival Feast for All initiative will take place during festival season only, which is done by conducting some activities in different cities. Volunteers will be on hand to distribute meals to those in need. We encourage everyone to come out and participate in this important event.

The process begins with food collection drives, where individuals, restaurants, local businesses, and supermarkets contribute fresh produce, prepared meals, sweets or non-perishable food items and even some gifts also during festival days. Volunteers act like a bridge between donors and accepters, they give their crucial time to collect, prepare, and package meals for distribution.

Each city involved in the initiative by conducting the activities, prepare the food stalls and public spaces where food is handed out to those in need. This approach ensures that a broad range of people are reached, from homeless individuals on the streets to low-income families struggling to even fulfill their basic food needs.

With this Program our Angles Foundation aimed to spread happiness and basic food amenities specially during festival seasons so, that not only privileged but also underprivileged people can fulfill their basic ends and can also celebrate during festivals like other peoples.
